About this Course
Today is the opportunity to flow in freedom, with the science of forgiveness and joy – this line from one of Juancho Piedemonte’s most well-known songs, “Fluir en Libertad” (Flow in Freedom), captures the essence of Juancho’s music: sharing a message of love, perseverance and trust in the mysteries of life.
A breathtaking concert performer and experienced ceremonialist who regularly supports sacred medicine ceremonies with various elders and medicine houses in Colombia and abroad, Juancho shares powerful teachings about life through his impactful lyrics as well as rhythms that are characteristic of Colombian yagé (ayahuasca) ceremonies.
This course presents in-depth tutorials of 11 original songs taught directly by the author, who also shares the story behind each original song. Woven into these lessons are intimate interviews in which the artist tells us about his life, including his personal journey with sacred medicines and the music that they inspire. Juancho also shares valuable advice and insights from his unique life experience – for everyone on the medicine path, and for anyone learning medicine music.

Based in San Rafael, Antioquia, Juancho Piedemonte is one of the most charismatic performers within the medicine community. A seasoned ceremonialist and performer at concerts, he supports retreats at several medicine houses in Colombia, and his songs are often heard even at ceremonies where he is not present. Juancho also shares beautiful wisdom about life acquired through his travels and studies of various traditions across Latin America.
